I can force Schedules direct to do a full guide update, manually stop and restart the TV Service, and the TV guide gives the proper listings. I go to the Schedules Direct plugin, and have it download the details for those 6 channels, and then do the proper TV combinations and everything seems fine. There are 6 main channels I watch (between channel numbers 600-617). Starting from the beginning, I do a channel scan in the normal way (TV servers, pick my card, scan in Digital Cable, map channels to other cards), then delete the channels I don't pay for. I'm running WHS 2011 and have a HD Homerun Prime Cable Card. Restart TV Server again to trigger SD to start grabbing EPG.I'm experiencing a problem with Schedules Direct that I didn't have in MP 1.7, but I changed a few things when I updated to MP 1.8 a few months ago.

Do not add numbers to the channel names when you rename them - it is literally *just* the callsign that you need. "channel name format": the naming requirement in step 4 has absolutely no relationship to this setting. This option is mainly useful for people with analog cable channels. If you name the channels as specified in step 4 then you shouldn't have a problem with getting the guide data linked up correctly. "allow EPG channel mapping by channel number only": I would ensure that is unticked too, at least for a start. Ticking that may create channels that you can't receive which then makes it tricky to get the guide information for those channels. "automatically add new digital cable/satellite channels": I would untick that since it will be simplest to scan the channels in with your tuner. On the "advanced options" tab the most important settings (in my opinion) are: Expand the plugins node to get to the Schedules Direct configuration.Ĩ.
